Woodside South, historically known as Court Manor, named Wehrmann Angus Farm from the 1980’s-2014, and currently named Woodside-South, has a storied history in both the Thoroughbred horse and the Registered Angus industries. Furthermore, the Angus Genetics bred at this farm are unequaled; this farm has placed more Angus bulls in bull studs than any other farm/ranch in the United States and perhaps, the world.

In short, this farm is legendary. The limestone soils, the grasslands-which have been superbly managed for decades, the ideal climate for breeding livestock
and strong groundwater resources create the optimum farm for breeding livestock. In the 1980’s, when the farm became known as Wehrmann Angus, the farm developed an international reputation as one of the leading Angus herds in the United Sates and the world. In 2010, the Angus Foundation stated that Wehrmann Angus had “…the most advanced genetics in the Angus breed.” Woodside farms, who took over full ownership in 2014, has continued the tradition of excellence with the Angus breed’s most elite genetics.
