JACK SCHUTTE is the principal broker, and is a Virginia and West Virginia Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He is a designated Master Farm and Land Appraised (MFLA), a Virginia Land Specialist (VLS), an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and is certified as a Conservation Easement Appraiser by the Appraisal Institute, American Society of Rural Appraisers, American Society of Appraisers, and the Land Trust Alliance. Jack has been in the Real Estate business for twenty-five years and specializes in farm and investment properties. His sales volume has earned the Blue Ridge Board of Realtors Presidents’ and Director’s Award multiple times. He has been active in related community affairs with service on the Clarke County Board of Zoning Appeals, the District Chairman of the Shawnee District for the Boy Scouts of America, and has spent many years on the renovations and construction, as well as a past board of Powhatan School. As a past full time and now part time sheep and cattle farmer, and a past embryo transfer technician, Jack has great experience in managing farms, both as a farm operator, and also for the preservation of real estate value over time. Jack enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding, most outdoor sports, and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
